A comprehensive, automated digital admissions platform built in-house by the KAFU iiHub Dev Team. It transforms the traditionally paper-heavy admissions workflow into a seamless, real-time online experience for applicants, students, and admin staff.
The KAFU Online Admission System was developed to address a core institutional challenge: a slow, manual, and error-prone paper-based admissions process. The platform digitises every stage of the journey — from initial application submission through to enrollment confirmation and student onboarding.
Key capabilities include: online application submission with document upload, automated eligibility screening, real-time application status tracking, fee payment integration, and institutional records synchronisation. Admin staff gain a powerful dashboard with batch review tools, automated notifications, and reporting analytics.
The system was built with scalability in mind and handles thousands of concurrent applications during peak admission seasons without performance degradation. It integrates directly with KAFU's existing student information systems, eliminating duplicate data entry.
Since launch, the platform has processed all new student intake cycles for Kaimosi Friends University, dramatically reducing administrative overhead and improving the applicant experience. Feedback from both students and staff has been overwhelmingly positive.
