Innovation & Incubation
Hub
A premier center for excellence in innovation, incubation, and in-house ICT system development — serving Kaimosi Friends University and the wider region.
What is KAFU iiHub?
The KAFU Innovation and Incubation Hub (iiHub) is a premier institutional center established within Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU) — a Quaker-heritage institution situated in the heart of Western Kenya. The Hub operates under the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), making it uniquely positioned at the intersection of academia and applied technology.
Our mandate is to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world industry application, providing a robust, collaborative ecosystem where students, faculty, startups, and institutional partners can work together to design, prototype, and deploy impactful digital solutions.
Beyond serving innovators and entrepreneurs, KAFU iiHub also serves as the university's own dedicated digital development unit — building and maintaining the core ICT systems that power KAFU's institutional operations and digital transformation journey.
